FOLLOW THE PATH OF THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD
We are piecing together a bicycle tour that will follow the path of an underground railroad pathway through southern Michigan. Begin in southwestern Michigan and check out the historic places of sanctuary for slaves escaping from their oppression in the south.
Our first structured bicycle tour ends in Battle Creek, Michigan where the largest and most spectacular underground railroad monument in the United States is found.
Other adventure activities are possible such as river kayaking, rafting and mountain biking.
End your tour with a fne dining experience at a local restaurant or at one of our great micro brews or wineries.
Check out this website for a historic look at the pathways, dates and maps!
