Day 1
We pick you up in the afternoon from Ludington, Manistee, Muskegon or the Traverse area. We transport you and your group to the Pere Marquette River for a kayak departure from the Baldwin area. Kayak to the Upper Branch Access and a quick bike to the Timber Creek camp site at the North Country Trailhead for an overnight. Overnight camp prepared in advance (tents, camper or cabin)
Day 2
After a skillet breakfast the morning, the day begins with a mountain bike ride on a portion of the Timber Creek to Freesoil trail segment C which is 19.0 miles long. During this ride there is a stop for a lunch break and recovery at McCarthy Lake, and the ride continues to the Freesoil camp for second overnight. Overnight camp prepared in advance (tents, camper or cabin)
Day 3
Once rested after a healthy gourmet breakfast, we mountain bike for a few hours playing at the Big M Mountain Bike Trail which has loops on the east and west side of the National Forest North Country Trail. Some portions of this trail are only for advanced mountain biking (optional).

Afternoon pick-up from the Lansing, Ann Arbor, Flint or Detroit area. Transport to the Williamston Kayak trailhead on the Red Cedar River for departure preparation and warm up. Ride the river and whitewater challenges to Chief Okemos or East Lansing segment on the first afternoon. Overnight camp at the Pinckney State Recreation area. Overnight camp prepared in advance (tents, camper or cabin)
Day 2
After a skillet breakfast the morning begins with a Mountain Bike ride on the Crooked Lake Trail which is 6 miles long. After this ride there is a stop for a lunch break at the Lake shelter. The ride continues on the second segment of the Pinckney trail system. Overnight camp prepared in advance (tents, camper or cabin)
Day 3
Morning begins with the beginning of a challenging ride, the well known Potowatami trail ride which is 22.6 miles long, or 18.4 miles with a short cut. This trail was the home of the U.S. National Single Speed Championships in 2009. Some portions of this trail are only for advanced mountain biking (optional).

Day 2
After a skillet breakfast the morning begins with a Mountain Bike ride on the Fort Custer Trail system which includes 3 different loops, each progressively more challenging. During the day’s ride there is a stop for a lunch break at the camp shelter. The ride continues on with the more challenging segment of the Custer trail system, and is a stop on the MMBA mountain bike point championship race series. Overnight camp prepared in advance (tents, camper or cabin)
Day 3
In the morning we travel to Yankee Springs for a day of challenging mountain biking on the 11 mile trail system. Climbing and downhill in the devil’s bowl area along with great scenery and a real satisfaction when the day is done highlights this adventure. This trail was the home of the kickoff race for the MMBA CPS point series mountain bike races for 2009. Some portions of this trail are only for advanced mountain biking (optional).
